The daily toothpaste that works like a supplement for your whole body.

Nitric oxide is one of the molecules behind circulation and oxygen delivery. Your body makes it from dietary nitrate, and the first step of that conversion doesn't happen in your gut. It happens in your mouth, performed by bacteria your own cells can't substitute for.

Which is a problem, because getting enough leafy greens is hard, and most oral care routines actively work against the bacteria doing the converting.</p>

+NO closes that gap. It delivers prebiotic nitrate directly to where those bacteria live, with a vitamin C co-factor to support conversion, while 2.1% NanoXIM hydroxyapatite rebuilds enamel. Two jobs, one brush, twice a day.

Dual-Action Formula
Developed with nitric oxide researchers
Every other toothpaste does one job. +NO does two, and the second one reaches past your mouth.
Action One
Fuels nitric oxide
Prebiotic nitrate plus a vitamin C co-factor, delivered to the bacteria on your tongue that convert it. This is where nitric oxide production actually begins.
Action Two
Rebuilds enamel
2.1% NanoXIM hydroxyapatite bonds to the tooth surface, filling micro-cracks with the same mineral your enamel is already made of.
No SLS, no essential oils, no antimicrobials. Nothing that shuts down the bacteria doing the work.
Nitrate delivered orally, not swallowed, so it reaches the converting bacteria directly.
Same NanoXIM hydroxyapatite platform behind Fygg's peer-reviewed remineralization data.
Fygg's Prebiotic Toothpaste (3.1% n-HAp) was independently tested in Amaechi et al., J Dent 2025;161:106006. +NO uses the same NanoXIM hydroxyapatite at 2.1%. It has not been separately tested in that study.
The Science

Nitric oxide starts in your mouth

Two of the three conversion steps happen before you swallow. That's why what you brush with sits directly on top of the pathway.

IN YOUR MOUTH IN YOUR BODY Oral bacteria your own cells cannot do this Swallowed carried in saliva NO₃⁻ Nitrate from the toothpaste NO₂⁻ Nitrite converted on your tongue NO Nitric oxide used throughout the body
01
Nitrate arrives

Prebiotic nitrate from mixed berry extract lands on the tongue while you brush, with a vitamin C co-factor. It normally comes from leafy greens, and most people don't eat enough to keep the pathway supplied.

02
Bacteria convert it

Species at the back of your tongue reduce nitrate to nitrite. Human cells cannot run this reaction, so the bacteria aren't optional. Antibacterial rinses and detergent pastes both reduce that population.

03
Your body finishes

You swallow the nitrite in saliva and your body completes the conversion to nitric oxide, the molecule behind vascular tone and oxygen delivery. A capsule skips the first two stages entirely.

The same mineral your enamel is already made of

Everyday acid wear leaves microscopic gaps across the surface. Nano-sized hydroxyapatite is small enough to settle into them and bond.

How It Compares

Pick what you'd otherwise buy

We make two of these. If the original is the better fit, we'd rather you bought that one.

Fygg Original Prebiotic Toothpaste (3.1% n-HAp) was independently tested in Amaechi et al., J Dent 2025;161:106006. +NO uses the same NanoXIM hydroxyapatite at 2.1% and was not separately tested in that study. The conventional toothpaste column reflects common mass-market formulations, not any single named product.

Find Your Fit

We make two toothpastes. This isn't automatically the better one.

Three questions, about fifteen seconds. If the original is right for you, we'll say so.

Frequently asked

It can. Think of +NO as an upgrade rather than a swap. It does everything our Original does, at a slightly lower hydroxyapatite level, plus the nitrate pathway. If maximum remineralization is your only priority, Original at 3.1% n-HAp is the stronger choice. If you want your routine doing more than cleaning teeth, this is it.

Because nitric oxide is a gas with a lifespan measured in seconds. You cannot put it in a tube. What you can do is supply the raw material, which is prebiotic nitrate. Your bacteria convert it to nitrite, and your body finishes the job. +NO restores an input that modern oral care tends to strip out.

Yes. +NO contains 2.1% NanoXIM hydroxyapatite, inside the 1–3% range clinical work identifies as optimal for remineralization, sensitivity, and whitening. Original runs 3.1%, so if remineralization is your single priority, start there.

That is the design. Brush twice daily for a steady baseline, then use the mints between meals when you want a larger dose. Test strips let you confirm where you are landing. The three products were built as one routine.

Antibacterial mouthwash works directly against this. It does not distinguish between harmful bacteria and the species performing the nitrate conversion, so it can wipe out the exact population +NO is feeding. If you are using +NO, skip the antiseptic rinse.

[HOLD FOR CLINICAL AND REGULATORY SIGN-OFF. Unlike Fygg Original, which is safe from age 0, the +NO formula contains prebiotic nitrate and needs a defined minimum age. Do not publish until Dr. Burhenne and counsel have set it. Original remains the recommendation for young children.]

Foam comes from SLS, a detergent that strips beneficial bacteria and triggers canker sores in some people. +NO is SLS-free, surfactant-free, and emulsifier-free, which matters twice over here because those ingredients disrupt the bacteria doing the conversion. Give it a few days.

Nano-hydroxyapatite delivers remineralization without the concerns around toxicity, fluorosis, or endocrine disruption. It is biocompatible, so your body recognizes it as its own material. Clinical work shows n-HAp performs comparably to fluoride for cavity prevention and sensitivity.

Roughly 2 to 3 months with twice-daily brushing. The 3-Pack on Subscribe & Save works out cheapest per tube and takes reordering off your list.

“We’ve incorporated Fygg varnish into our remineralization protocol. We avoid products with fluoride because they seal in the white spots. We’ve seen great results for the treatment of white spot lesions by having our patient buy a tube of Fygg varnish and apply it to the inside of their retainers and wear nightly. Beyond impressed by the results!”
