"My teeth have been sensitive for years. Within two weeks of switching to Fygg I noticed a dramatic difference. I can drink cold water again without flinching."
"My dentist told me I had three watch spots six months ago. After using Fygg in my retainer every night, my last checkup showed all three had remineralized."
"My dentist asked what I had changed at my last cleaning. My enamel was visibly stronger and she said my gum health had improved significantly. She now recommends Fygg to her own patients."
Why Fygg
Traditional toothpaste kills good bacteria along with the bad. Fygg feeds your oral microbiome so it can protect you naturally.
Nano-hydroxyapatite bonds directly to your teeth, filling micro-cracks and rebuilding enamel without fluoride.
Prebiotics like chicory root and xylitol feed the beneficial microbes that keep your mouth—and body—healthy.
Free from fluoride, SLS, essential oils, endocrine disruptors, and detergents. Nothing that doesn't belong.
Clinically proven n-HAp fills exposed dentin tubules, reducing sensitivity from the very first use.
The Science
The same mineral your teeth are already made of—delivered in nano-sized particles that bond directly to enamel.
Nano-sized hydroxyapatite particles are small enough to penetrate micro-cracks in your tooth surface, filling gaps that traditional toothpaste can't reach.
Once bonded, n-HAp acts as a scaffold for new mineral deposits, effectively remineralizing weakened areas and restoring the tooth's natural protective layer.
The rebuilt surface is smoother and more resistant to acid attacks from food and bacteria—reducing sensitivity and making future cavities less likely.
Common Questions
Everything you need to know before making the switch.
Most "natural" toothpastes still include foaming agents, preservatives, and essential oils that disrupt your oral microbiome. Fygg strips all of that out. Our formula contains only what's needed to remineralize teeth and nourish beneficial bacteria—nothing more. It's the "less is more" approach, formulated by two functional dentists who spent years scrutinizing what the industry gets wrong.
Hydroxyapatite is the mineral that makes up 97% of your tooth enamel and 70% of dentin. In nano-sized form (n-HAp), it can bond directly to teeth, filling micro-cracks and rebuilding weakened enamel. It's been used in Japan for cavity prevention since 1978 and is backed by extensive clinical research as a safe, effective alternative to fluoride.
Yes. It's biocompatible—meaning your body recognizes it as its own material. Unlike fluoride, there's no toxicity risk from swallowing. Fygg uses nanoXIM from Fluidinova in Europe, the gold standard for dental-grade n-HAp, at clinically optimal concentrations (1–3% nanoXIM per tube).
Nano-hydroxyapatite delivers the same remineralization benefits as fluoride without the concerns around toxicity, fluorosis, or endocrine disruption. Clinical studies show n-HAp is equally effective at preventing cavities and reducing sensitivity—so there's simply no need for fluoride in the formula.
Most toothpastes foam because of SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate), a detergent that strips your mouth of beneficial bacteria and can cause canker sores. Fygg is SLS-free. The clean feeling comes from the ingredients actually working—not from soap-like suds. It takes a couple days to adjust, but customers say their mouth has never felt cleaner.
Absolutely—sensitivity is one of the key issues n-HAp addresses. The nano-sized particles fill exposed dentin tubules, which are the tiny channels that transmit pain signals. Many customers report noticeable relief within the first week.
Yes. All flavors are fluoride-free, so there's no risk from accidental swallowing—making them safe for kids of all ages. Mild Mint is gentle enough for young brushers, and Vanilla Vibes, Coconut Cream, and Chocolate Swirl are especially popular with children.
Fygg was created by dentists—Dr. Mark Burhenne and Dr. Staci Whitman, both leaders in functional and holistic dentistry. It's also recommended by a growing number of practitioners who prioritize oral microbiome health and evidence-based, non-toxic ingredients.
Each 4oz tube lasts approximately 2–3 months with twice-daily brushing. The 3-Pack with Subscribe & Save is the most popular option—15% off and one less thing to remember.

"It's okay. Frankly, I don't feel my teeth get quite as clean with Fygg pastes, but I do appreciate the better ingredients. My checkups are also not quite as good, slightly deeper pockets, tho same consistent brushing and electric toothbrush. Cost is getting to be difficult with everything else going up up up."
"I was buying 3 different toothpaste from 3 different companies because my kids didn't like the same ones. I came across this brand and we all like it! My kids haven't liked mint before because it was always too minty for them but this one is perfect. The flavor isn't too much and you still get a refreshed feeling after brushing."
"I got the mild mint. It's so mild I can't taste any mint. The taste isn't bad, but it isn't great, especially with rinsing not recommended. I will say my mouth tastes better when I wake up in the morning. I'll have to wait a bit to see if my dental hygenist sees good results."
"This is the best toothpaste I have ever used! Our whole family (of six ages 5 - 36) love this product! The staining on our teeth is gone, my sensitivity is gone, our teeth feel cleaner, and stay cleaner! I’m telling everyone about this toothpaste! It’s amazing!!"
"I am unsure how to rate this not because it is lacking but until my next dental checkup I won’t know how effective it is. I do brush the full 2min & don’t mind the absence of lather or the need to rinse afterwards. My mouth does feel refreshed so I will most likely order another tube. I will submit a better review once I have more to convey. Thank you."
"I love this brand of toothpaste. I have used it for over a year. My last dental checkup was my best ever. I have a terrible problem with plague. This toothpaste has almost gotten rid of my life long issue of plaque. This is my favorite favor but I use this toothpaste no matter the flavor."
"Customer service agents are either bots or people who have the worst reading/comprehension skills. They (meaning multiple agents) don’t even properly read the emails they respond to. Asking for a supervisor doesn’t get anywhere so clearly this is standard and acceptable service here."
"I received my first order of toothpaste 2 weeks ago. There was a mistake in the order and it was very quickly corrected very generously in my favor. I love the mild mint flavor. I also appreciate that an email came reminding me to spit but not rinse to get the full benefit - I had forgotten that! Thank you, FYGG: a high quality product and high quality customer service!!"
"I knew the flavor would be mild, and that's fine. But it is soooo sweet - much much too sweet in my opinion. More importantly, my teeth seem to accumulate more plaque throughout the day when using this paste, compared to the Boka I was using before. By the time I get home from work, my teeth feel totally coated. I switched for the better percentage of n-Ha as well as the gut health component, but I'm disappointed that my teeth don't feel as clean. Maybe I'm supposed to brush more than twice a day? In terms of comfort, this paste doesn't seem to increase sensitivity - but also hasn't noticeably improved sensitivity (at least not so far, at about a month and a half of use). I am on my second tube and do prefer the coconut cream flavor (still insanely sweet) but I will likely switch after this tube is gone. I'm bummed I just haven't been impressed so far!"
"I love it. I never leave reviews. But Fygg is the champ. Objectively best nHA toothpaste (look at all the research) built by good people. Tastes delicious (should I eat it? don't say no!) Will be a buyer for a long time."
